All-on-4 Dental Implants — Full Arch Replacement in One Day
Walk in with failing or missing teeth. Walk out with a complete, beautiful smile — all in a single appointment.
Living with a mouth full of failing teeth — or struggling daily with dentures that slip, click, and limit what you can eat — takes a real toll on your quality of life. Traditional dentures replace the look of teeth but not the function. All-on-4 dental implants change that entirely.
The All-on-4 technique uses four strategically placed titanium implants per arch to support a full set of fixed, non-removable teeth. Two implants are placed vertically in the front of the jaw, and two are angled at up to 45 degrees in the back — maximizing contact with available bone and often eliminating the need for bone grafting, even in patients who have experienced significant bone loss.
The result: you walk into Summit Ridge Dental with missing or failing teeth and walk out the same day with a complete, functional, beautiful smile. Dr. Sarah Chen performs every All-on-4 case at our Scottsdale office using 3D CT-guided surgical planning for precise implant placement and predictable outcomes.
Why Patients Choose All-on-4 Over Dentures
Teeth in a Single Day
All four implants are placed and a temporary prosthesis is attached in one appointment. You never go a day without teeth.
No More Denture Adhesive
All-on-4 is permanently fixed to your jawbone. No messy adhesives, no nightly removal, no soaking in a glass.
Eat Anything Again
All-on-4 restores 70 to 90 percent of natural biting force. Steak, apples, nuts, corn — your diet is no longer limited.
Works with Bone Loss
The angled rear implants grip available bone, often eliminating the need for bone grafting that traditional implants require.
Cost-Effective Full Arch
Four implants instead of six to eight means lower cost, fewer surgeries, and faster treatment compared to individual implant placement.
Preserves Your Jawbone
Implants stimulate bone growth, preventing the facial collapse that occurs with traditional dentures over time.
How Much Do All-on-4 Implants Cost in Scottsdale?
All-on-4 dental implants in the Scottsdale and Phoenix metro area typically cost between $20,000 and $30,000 per arch. This includes all four implants, any necessary extractions, the temporary prosthesis placed the same day, and the final permanent prosthesis.
The price range depends on several factors: whether extractions are needed, the type of final prosthesis you choose (acrylic vs. zirconia), and any preparatory treatments. Zirconia prostheses are more durable and natural-looking but cost more than acrylic options.
Compared to placing six to eight individual implants with separate crowns, All-on-4 is typically 30 to 50 percent less expensive while delivering a comparable functional result. It also requires fewer surgical procedures and a shorter overall treatment timeline.
We offer CareCredit and Lending Club financing to break the cost into manageable monthly payments. Many patients pay between $399 and $599 per month for their All-on-4 treatment. Our team will review your insurance benefits and financing options during your free consultation.
What Does the All-on-4 Process Look Like?
The All-on-4 process at Summit Ridge Dental begins with a free consultation and 3D CT scan, followed by a single surgical appointment where implants and temporary teeth are placed. The final permanent prosthesis is delivered four to six months later.
Step 1: Free Consultation and 3D Planning
Dr. Chen examines your mouth, takes a 3D CT scan with our Sirona CBCT scanner, and reviews your bone density, nerve pathways, and sinus position. She determines whether All-on-4 is the right approach or if another option would serve you better. You receive a complete treatment plan and cost estimate at this visit.
Step 2: Digital Surgical Planning
Using the 3D scan data, Dr. Chen digitally plans the precise position, angle, and depth of each implant. A custom surgical guide is fabricated to ensure exact placement during surgery. This technology reduces surgery time, minimizes incision size, and improves outcomes.
Step 3: Surgery Day — Teeth in a Day
On the day of your procedure, any remaining failing teeth are extracted. Dr. Chen places four titanium implants — two vertical in the anterior jaw and two angled in the posterior — through the custom surgical guide. A pre-fabricated temporary prosthesis is then attached to the implants. You walk out with a full set of functional teeth. The entire procedure typically takes three to four hours under local anesthesia with optional sedation.
Step 4: Healing Period (4–6 Months)
Over the next four to six months, the implants undergo osseointegration — bonding with your jawbone. During this time, you wear the temporary prosthesis and eat a soft-food diet for the first eight to twelve weeks. We schedule periodic check-in appointments to monitor healing.
Step 5: Final Prosthesis
After the implants have fully integrated, we take digital impressions and fabricate your final prosthesis — either a high-strength acrylic or monolithic zirconia arch. The final teeth are custom-designed for natural appearance, proper bite alignment, and long-term durability. This prosthesis is permanently fixed to your implants.
Who Is a Good Candidate for All-on-4?
All-on-4 implants are designed for patients who are missing all or most of their teeth in one or both arches, or who have teeth that are failing and will need extraction. Specifically, good candidates include:
Current denture wearers who are tired of the limitations of removable dentures and want a permanent, fixed solution.
Patients with failing dentition who face multiple extractions and want to avoid years of incremental dental work.
Patients with moderate bone loss who have been told they are not candidates for traditional implants. The angled implant placement often eliminates the need for bone grafting.
Patients who want same-day results — you leave the office with a full set of functional teeth, not a gap or a temporary denture.
A 3D CT scan during your consultation will confirm whether your bone structure and overall health support the procedure. In cases of severe bone loss, Dr. Chen may recommend zygomatic implants or a modified approach.

All-on-4 Frequently Asked Questions
All-on-4 dental implants in Scottsdale typically range from $20,000 to $30,000 per arch, which includes all implants, extractions, temporary teeth, and the final permanent prosthesis. We offer CareCredit and Lending Club financing, with monthly payments starting around $399.
Yes. On the day of surgery, Dr. Chen extracts any remaining teeth, places four implants, and attaches a temporary full-arch prosthesis. You leave with a complete set of functional teeth. The final permanent prosthesis is placed four to six months later after the implants have fully healed.
All-on-4 implants are permanently fixed in your mouth, while traditional dentures are removable. Implants restore 70 to 90 percent of natural biting force, prevent jawbone loss, and eliminate the need for adhesives. Dentures are less expensive initially but can slip, require ongoing adjustments, and contribute to continued bone loss over time.
Yes — that is one of the key advantages of the All-on-4 technique. The angled posterior implants grip available bone more effectively, often eliminating the need for bone grafting. Dr. Chen evaluates your bone density during the 3D CT consultation to confirm your eligibility.
The titanium implants can last a lifetime with proper care. The prosthetic arch typically lasts 10 to 20 years, depending on the material. Zirconia arches tend to last longer than acrylic. Regular checkups and daily cleaning with specialized tools keep your All-on-4 in excellent condition.
For the first 8 to 12 weeks, you will eat a soft-food diet — smoothies, soups, yogurt, scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes. After the final prosthesis is placed, you can eat virtually anything. Most patients are thrilled to enjoy foods they had given up years ago.
