Happy patient with natural-looking dentures at Summit Ridge Dental

Dentures — Full and Partial Options

Missing multiple teeth? Modern dentures look natural, fit comfortably, and restore your ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

Losing several teeth — or all of them — changes everything about daily life. Eating becomes difficult, speech can be affected, and the loss of confidence takes a real toll. Modern dentures are a far cry from what your grandparents wore. Today's options are designed for comfort, natural appearance, and real functionality.

At Summit Ridge Dental, we offer full dentures, partial dentures, and implant-supported dentures tailored to your specific needs, lifestyle, and budget. Every denture is custom-crafted using digital impressions and high-quality materials for the best possible fit and aesthetics.

Types of Dentures We Offer

Full (complete) dentures replace all teeth in the upper arch, lower arch, or both. They rest on the gums and are held in place by suction and, when needed, denture adhesive. They are an affordable solution for patients who have lost all their teeth.

Partial dentures replace one or more missing teeth while preserving your remaining natural teeth. They attach to your existing teeth with clasps or precision attachments and are removable for cleaning.

Implant-supported dentures snap onto two to four dental implants placed in the jawbone. This dramatically improves stability, chewing power, and comfort compared to conventional dentures. Implant-supported options also help prevent the bone loss that occurs when teeth are missing. For full-arch replacement, ask about our All-on-4 fixed implant solution.

What to Expect When Getting Dentures

Step 1: Comprehensive Evaluation

Your dentist evaluates your oral health, remaining teeth, bone structure, and bite. Digital X-rays and 3D imaging help plan the ideal restoration.

Step 2: Impressions and Measurements

Precise digital or physical impressions are taken of your gums and any remaining teeth. Bite measurements ensure proper alignment.

Step 3: Try-In Appointment

A wax model of your dentures is tried in to check the fit, tooth position, color, and overall appearance. Adjustments are made before the final version is fabricated.

Step 4: Delivery and Fitting

Your finished dentures are placed, adjusted for comfort, and your dentist teaches you how to insert, remove, and care for them.

Step 5: Follow-Up Adjustments

One to two follow-up appointments fine-tune the fit. Minor sore spots are normal during the adjustment period and are easily corrected.

How Much Do Dentures Cost in Scottsdale?

Full dentures in the Phoenix area typically range from $1,500 to $3,500 per arch, depending on the materials and customization. Partial dentures range from $1,000 to $2,500. Implant-supported dentures start around $5,000 per arch.

Most dental insurance plans cover dentures as a major prosthetic procedure. We are in-network with Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, UnitedHealthcare, and other major plans. Our Summit Savings Plan provides 15% off for uninsured patients, and CareCredit and Lending Club financing are available for manageable monthly payments.

Dentures vs. Implants — Which Is Right for You?

Conventional dentures are more affordable upfront and do not require surgery. They are a good option for patients who want a faster, non-surgical solution. However, they can slip during eating or speaking, and they do not prevent bone loss.

Implant-supported dentures provide superior stability, comfort, and chewing power. They preserve jawbone and eliminate the need for adhesives. The upfront cost is higher, but many patients find the long-term benefits worth the investment.
